Am I Eligible for Medical Marijuana?

Medical marijuana is currently used by thousands of Canadians for a wide range of conditions. People choose medical marijuana over other medications because it is considered a safe and effective alternative for treating many disorders, without the adverse side effects of some pharmaceutical products. Since the 2014 ruling, the decision about whether or not to use medical marijuana rests solely between the patient and his or her physician. Patients who are deemed eligible to receive medical marijuana under Health Canada’s Access to Cannabis for Medical Purposes Regulation (ACMPR) by their physician must provide appropriate medical documents that confirm the diagnosis. Click here to see a list of common conditions that can be treated with medical marijuana. If your condition is not on the list, contact us to see if your condition may be treated with medical marijuana. Once you have established that your condition can be treated with medical marijuana, we just need you to provide supporting medical documentation. Contact us and we can help you gather the information needed. People who currently have access to medical marijuana through Health Canada’s MMAR system must transition to the new ACMPR regulations. If you are currently eligible to receive medical marijuana the through the previous MMAR system and you want to switch over to the new regulations, contact us to help you transition to the new program.
